Little Bird…A Poem.

A pine siskin on my hand.

Little Bird

A little bird floating past,

Looks to get some food at last.

Now he looks with eyes of glee,

As he chirps “hello” to me.

On my hand he gladly hops,

Moves so fast he barely stops.

He so quickly grabs a seed,

Then off he goes with great speed.

But now he moves very slow,

He has learned, and he does know.

He comes right quick to my hand,

To get those seeds he will land.

And on my arm some will wait,

For those seeds they won’t be late.

They enjoy those seeds so free,

Then they chirp “good bye” to me.

      • Hi Steve, i did, after 24 hrs i did got some good sleep for some 4 hrs, grateful for that deep sleep 🤗 Tomorrow mrng first thing to go gym 🏋️🤸, but afraid of this corona 🙄. Wait 😳 u r not sleeping 🤔 why? Come on Steve isn’t it too late to stay awake 🙄✨ Hope all is well. Have a peaceful night 🤗

      • Yeah, stay away from the gym, dangerous place with that new virus around.😲😲 Stay at home for your workout, it’s safer.😀 Yep, I’m still here, did way too much today and now I’m in too much pain to sleep.🙄😳 Hopefully soon though.😀🌙😴

      • I’m awake, I’m awake! Yep, I get a sort of good day and I do too much. I have always been that way it seems.😀🙄 Well, the last few years anyway.🤔🤪 You would rather go to the gym and get sick?😲🙄 Wear a mask, wear gloves, don’t touch anything, stay away from other people in the gym.😳😳

      • I need to take care of myself and my fat% is keep on increasing as I’m frequently travelling and having all the junk foods🙄😳 I should be careful at gym Though. Must get a mask first. Since i go first in the early morning I’ll be free from crowds. Wish things will go as planned. Let’s see.✨👀

      • Yeah, I agree, traveling can really mess up our eating habits which is not good.🍕🌭🍔
        But don’t take too many chances, yes a mask is a must. I would wear those latex gloves too in places like that. Going early in the day is a good idea too.🤔😷
        I hope that virus stays away from your area.🤔👍

      • Yes Steve, should be very careful in that part, I’m having stomach pain slightly since last Friday 🤔 Something is wrong. Not sure what. Yes need to keep my hands off from almost everything ✨☺️

      • Hey Steve, Better now ✨🤗 nope I’m not going to hospital, but being careful on everything, definitely not going to stick with virus 🙄 Hot summer 😄😁 Maybe a reason for this sickness😉✨ Enjoy the beautiful summer

      • Good to hear Simon! We have such a long wait for summer! It’s back to cold for us today. We have it at -23 with a strong north wind blowing.🥶🙀⛄⛄

      • Heat?🤔😲 You’re teasing me with hot temps and I’m freezing with -25 temps!😒😭🥶🙀Can’t remember if I asked before, I know I keep teasing about palm trees, do you actually have palm trees?🤔🌴🌴Do you live close to the ocean? Or more inland?🤔🤪😀I’m curious this morning.😂😂😄😄🙄

      • 😁😁😁 Yes i do have lot of palm trees around the lake nearby ☺️ And it’s population is drastically reduced. But still it is there. 😄😉 it’s a warm place here, only time i hate is when the temperature is above 35C and i get cold 🤧 that’s where i hate it 😁😋😜

      • I agree, getting a cold in summer heat is terrible. Not that we get much summer heat anymore. I think we’re heading for an ice age.⛄⛄🥶🌨🙀 That’s my prediction. Every year keeps getting colder.😬☃❄🥶 Soon we will just have spring, fall and winter. Sigh. Oh well, have to go now, enjoy your evening Simon!😃😺🌙

      • If I start looking for spring too early it can get discouraging because it’s a long wait yet.😕😳 2 months is still a long time even though it’s early.🤪😜🙄
