For a smile as wide as a country sunrise
Good morning everyone and Happy Sunday! Coffee is ready for those who would like some! What a difference from one day to the next. Yesterday it was sunny with a high of 54F (12C), this morning it was cloudy and 37F (3C), and now in just 2 hours it has dropped to 32F (0C). Plus it is snowing heavily and has in less than half an hour, turned everything white once again. However, we’re not supposed to get more than an inch or two of snow, so I hope that forecast is correct. It’s also supposed to keep getting colder throughout the day with a very strong north wind.
Oh well, it is spring, and this is what happens in the spring around here. The robins were singing cheerily from the treetops. There was a lot of small bird activity at the feeders this morning including chickadees, nuthatches, juncos and at least one fox sparrow. I’m hoping to get a closer pic of a fox sparrow this year. It is so hard to get close to those birds. I do have some nice pics of them, but as an amateur nature photographer, I still look for even better pics.
Theodore was here this morning on the deck. He has always been around the neighborhood but doesn’t come over to visit much anymore. I guess he is finding enough natural food now. And his spring colors are really looking fantastic right now. Too bad it was so dull when he was here early this morning. I would like to get him in the sunshine now, that would make a great picture. Jasper finally showed up I see, and another squirrel, can’t tell which one but I think it’s Freddie.
I was up early this morning and was going to get this post out nice and early, but…no internet. Took 2 hours before it finally was working again. Sigh. Oh well. It’s spring! All pictures today are from last summer, we don’t have flowers blooming this time of the year. Our main flower blooming time is June, July and August. We have short summers here. Have a beautiful Sunday everyone and God bless!
Steve and Muffin.

snow flurries π€ like an insect π€ we should be in Mars now, enough of these snow flurries and warm springs π a box of French fries, and loads of potato seed π

Now that sounds like a plan. I wonder if it snows on Mars?π€ππΉ

No, it doesn’t look like it snows π€ why bother all we need is sunshine and we have plenty out there. no pollution, pure air, sleep anywhere, should be marking a sign as to wonder the future mars generation “what the heck was that?” πΈπ

Once they start sending people up to Mars, then there will be pollution happen up there too. Maybe they could burn their garbage. With no real atmosphere and little gravity, all the smoke would float away into space.πππΉπΉ

without gravity how fire will float π³ππ€ umm… or what if there are micro organisms that live love just like us and we haven’t just witnessed it yet π³ then we will be the giants to then, you know like the giants from magical beans ππ

These are deep philosophical thoughts here.π€π¬ Hmm. I know, we can step on these little thingsπ and just let our garbage float off into space where it will fly to the ends of the universe and then disappear.π€ͺπ€― Or we could just dig a hole and bury it.πππΉ

ha ha ha aren’t we doing that already on earth π π we can practise same over there π . Already the micro organisms from earth are now in Mars, we must have carried some micro organisms from here to there isn’t it πΊπ and what if they become a giant π³π³ are we making a mistake π with our curiosity π€ or we are making a history βΊοΈ

That is true, they could carry micro organisms from here to Mars,π€ there are a lot that could survive that trip.π Hmm, maybe those micro organisms will become macro organisms and start throwing rocks at us!π³ππ¬

We have had a hot desert wave coming but it would cool down starting from 20th April …We would have moderate weather then …

We should take them joyfully though.

Good afternoon Steve! Thanks for sharing the beautiful pictures of the tulips π· ππ. Yes, we take the weather as it comes and appreciate the joy it brings. βTo everything there is a season…β We ended up getting about 4 inches last week, but my tulips had not blossomed yet so we will see how they do. Have a wonderful day!

It is a bit unusual, it doesn’t normally have such wild temperature swings, normally just stays cold until about now.ππ

That is hard on the body in terms of getting colds. I fought off one last week with apple cider vinegar, green tea and honey. It only lasted about two days. Hope you stay well. Itβs snowing now. π§πβοΈπ
