Steve And Muffin’s Wildflowers #65.
Hello everyone! Today’s wildflower is the “marsh grass of parnassus”. A rather odd name for a very beautiful flower that is 3/4 to 1 inch (18 to 25mm) across and the plant can grow from 8 to 16 inches (20 to 40cm) tall. It is another water loving native wildflower, often growing in water, but not always. It is definitely not a commonly found wildflower up this way but it’s always fun to find it. It blooms from August to September. Even though it has ‘grass’ in the name, it is not a grass, but without the flower at the top of the stem it would be hard to tell it apart from grasses around it. In Canada it can be found from BC to Quebec and in the US it is found from Michigan in the east across the northernmost states to the west coast and down to California and Nevada. Thank you for reading, there is going to be a change to these early morning series, so that wildflowers will be only one day a week beginning next week, birds will also return one day a week, not sure what will be on the other 3 days yet. it worked last night, I had dead bodies of their fellow mosquitoes and I didn’t feel a thing last night, a good sleep, except the frequent alarm 😵 that’s another story 😅😭 not sure of my reaction about that. 😂😂

Too much rain there too? it’s off season and we are getting rains 🙄😑 afraid of the actual season, the city is wet already, when the actual season comesz then it will be catastrophe 😵😅😂 let’s see.

You know, that could be it.😃 But I did see a guy walking in a snowstorm with an umbrella.😲 It really was hard to believe. Didn’t help him though,🙄 he was still covered with snow.😳🙄 Mainly because it was windy.😂😂😹😹☔☔
